| These are your wiki pages. The COMM 215 working Pages Wiki was created so that you have a semi-private space, beyond the stare of a global public that may have an interest in our research, for crafting your final project and public wiki page. Additionally, the working pages are where Michael will come to monitor your progress, assess on-line participation, and share important news items and class updates. You should make this wiki a regular stopping point. You can do so by visiting the wiki, subscribing to email updates (for any or all pages), or by tracking the What's New feed in your Google Reader. The choice is for you to make. Make good use of this space, and I remind you to not carry your work over to different on-line spaces. On-line participation and progress will be assessed here. Though this is a free wiki with imperfect technology (I remind you to SAVE OFTEN!), we must make the best of this as would any employee working with the software provided. Ultimately, our goal is to create the first social media map of Asia. | |
| | You will note, to your left, that the cumulative effort of previous classes has resulted in a tiny bit of recognition. We now aim to build on that history and further improve the public wiki by strengthening the research, adding original content such as videos, and building a set of blog based (yet multi-channel) efforts to reach out to digital media enthusiasts across Asia. To get you started, why not check out the video below and enjoy? |
